This series of products consists of three components: glass fiber epoxy resin pultruded rods, silicone rubber sheds, and hardware fittings. The silicone rubber sheds are manufactured using an integral injection molding process, which addresses the critical issue affecting the reliability of composite insulators—interfacial electrical breakdown. The connection between the glass fiber epoxy resin pultruded rods and hardware fittings adopts a unique adhesive bonding and crimping process, ensuring high strength, an attractive appearance, and a compact, lightweight design. The hardware fittings are galvanized to prevent corrosion and are interchangeable with porcelain insulators. The adhesive bonding and crimping structure of this product is reliable, causes no damage to the core rod, and fully maximizes its mechanical strength.
Superior Electrical Performance & High Mechanical Strength: The tensile strength of the glass fiber epoxy resin pultruded rod (the internal load-bearing component) is twice that of ordinary steel and approximately 10 times that of high-strength porcelain materials, significantly enhancing the reliability of safe operation.
Excellent Pollution Resistance & Strong Anti-Pollution Flashover Capability: Its pollution flashover voltage is 1.6 to 2 times that of porcelain insulators with the same creepage distance. No cleaning is required, allowing safe operation in heavily polluted areas.
Compact Size & Light Weight: Weighing only 1/6 to 1/19 of porcelain insulators of the same voltage class, it features a lightweight structure that facilitates transportation and installation.
Good Hydrophobicity of Silicone Rubber Sheds: The integral structure ensures the internal insulation remains moisture-proof. No preventive insulation monitoring tests or cleaning are needed, reducing daily maintenance workload.
Reliable Sealing Performance & Strong Resistance to Electrical Erosion: The shed material achieves a TMA 4.5 level in tracking resistance. It also exhibits excellent corrosion resistance and low-temperature tolerance, suitable for use in environments ranging from -40℃ to +50℃.
High Impact & Vibration Resistance: It offers good fracture resistance and creep resistance, is not easily broken, and has high bending and torsion strength. It is interchangeable with porcelain and glass insulators.
