Core Operating Principle

The breaker uses a “thermal expansion + auxiliary blow” self-energy arc extinguishing system, with:

  • Optimized arc contact and electric field design, including shielding on the contact fingers for uniform field distribution.

  • Split-type gas cylinder utilizing arc energy to assist in quenching, reducing operating force, and restrike probability.

  • Fast dielectric recovery is suitable for switching capacitor banks under transient recovery voltage.

It pairs with the CT26 fully-spring operating mechanism, storing energy directly from the closing arm to the trip spring, reducing transmission losses and maintenance requirements. The oil-free, gas-free design aligns with modern high-voltage equipment standards.
