Overview
The ZW20-12F/T Series Outdoor High-Voltage Vacuum Circuit Breaker (hereinafter referred to as the circuit breaker) is a reliable power distribution device designed for a rated voltage of 12kV and a three-phase AC 50Hz power system. Utilizing vacuum arc extinguishing technology and SF6 gas as the insulating medium, this product is an upgraded version of the ZW20-12F column-mounted vacuum circuit breaker. The breaker box incorporates gas-sealing, explosion-proof, and insulation technologies, originally introduced from Toshiba's VSP5 in Japan. The sealing performance of the inlet and outlet conduits has been enhanced, ensuring excellent overall sealing, with the SF6 gas inside remaining secure and unaffected by external conditions.
The spring operating mechanism has been miniaturized and optimized for reliability and stability. It features a direct-acting chain main drive and a multi-stage tripping system, greatly enhancing operational reliability compared to traditional domestic spring operating mechanisms. The contact structure between the shaft and sleeve in the main circuit uses an inward-retracted and outward-stretched chain design, resulting in low contact resistance and minimal temperature rise. As a result, the ZW20-12F outdoor pole-mounted vacuum circuit breaker is a maintenance-free product and stands out among pole-mounted circuit breakers.
Compared to the ZW20-12F, the ZW20-12F/T series adds overcurrent protection, mechanism spring energy storage indication, and aviation sockets for secondary electrical connections, making it easier to integrate with intelligent controllers. Its excellent electrical and mechanical properties make the ZW20-12F outdoor pole-mounted vacuum circuit breaker widely applicable. It is primarily used for breaking and closing load and short-circuit currents in 10kV power systems. The breaker is ideal for protection and control in substations and industrial power distribution systems, particularly in areas where power grids experience frequent operations. When paired with the appropriate controller, the ZW20-12F offers superior recloser functionality and meets the needs of distribution automation systems.
