HXGN12-12 AC Metal Ring Network Switchgear
Product Overview
The HXGN□-12 (□.R)/□ type enclosed (fixed) metal-clad ring main unit (RMU for short) is a new-type high-voltage switchgear developed for the renovation and construction of urban power grids. It is used in power supply systems to interrupt load currents and make short-circuit currents. This RMU is equipped with a vacuum load switch, and its operating mechanism is a spring-operated mechanism, which can be operated either manually or electrically. The switch and disconnector are matched with operating mechanisms. This RMU features strong integrity, compact size, no fire or explosion hazards, and reliable "five-prevention" functions.
Application Scope
This RMU is suitable for AC 10kV, 50Hz power distribution systems. It is widely used in urban power grid construction and renovation projects, industrial and mining enterprises, high-rise buildings, and public facilities etc. It serves as a ring network power supply unit and terminal equipment, performing functions such as power distribution, control, and protection of electrical equipment. It can also be installed in box-type substations. This RMU complies with the relevant provisions of IEC 420 "High-Voltage Alternating Current Load Switch-Fuse Combinations" and GB 3906-91 "3-35kV Alternating Current Metal-Clad Switchgear".

Ambient air temperature: -25℃ ~ +40℃.
Altitude: 2500m or below.
Humidity conditions:
Daily average relative humidity not exceeding 95%, and daily average water vapor pressure not exceeding 2.2kPa.
Monthly average relative humidity not exceeding 90%, and monthly average water vapor pressure not exceeding 1.8kPa.
Seismic intensity: Not exceeding Grade 8;
Locations free from obvious pollution, such as corrosive or flammable gases.
Note: If the above normal operating conditions are exceeded, users may negotiate with our company.
Ring Network Power Supply Principle
The ring network power supply is generally composed of three basic units (see Figure 1). The incoming and outgoing line cabinets serve as ring network units. When a fault occurs in any line, the faulty line can be isolated promptly, and the other unit ensures the continuous operation of the user's transformer branch. The user circuit ring network provides protection and isolation for the transformer, facilitating maintenance and overhaul.
The RMU can be extended arbitrarily and can form various combination schemes based on user requirements using basic units, enabling any combination scheme for any substation (distribution station).
